PressReader Features

Through Ohio State's PressReader subscription, Ohio State users have access to digital versions of print newspapers and magazines from around the world. This interface makes for easy browsing, just like you had the paper in front of you! Use the web version in the browser or the PressReader app on your mobile device.

Access PressReader on the Web

Create a PressReader Account

To create a PressReader account through Ohio State's subscription:

Go to the PressReader website while on the Ohio State network.
Click on "Sign In" at the top of the screen.
Choose the "New User? Sign Up Now" link at the bottom of the window that appears.
Use your preferred email address and choose a password. You'll use the same credentials to log into the PressReader App mobile app.

The PressReader app is free and available for a variety of smartphones, tablets and eReaders. More information and links to download the app are available on the PressReader app download webpage.

To use the app, you must first create a PressReader account with email address and password while on the Ohio State network (see instructions above).

Each time you sign into PressReader while on the OSU/OSUMC network, access to the app will be enabled for the following several days. After this access period has ended and you are prompted for payment, you must reauthenticate to reenable free app access.
