Instruction Support

The Health Sciences Library offers a variety of instructional services to support teaching and learning within classrooms, clinical settings, labs and more. Discover how to integrate information literacy and research skills into your instructional setting.

Please contact your liaison librarian or use the Request Librarian Assistance form button below to request a group workshop or instructional session tailored to your needs.

Examples of instructional collaboration:

  • Provide in-class instruction on evidence-based practice, searching scientific literature, research skills and citation managers.
  • Offer individualized consultations for instructors on creating meaningful inquiry-based assignments.
  • Develop workshops and sessions on how to conduct a systematic or scoping review, measuring your scholar impact and copyright.
  • Provide guidance for incorporating library and open education resources into your course design.
