Katie Blocksidge is associate professor and head, Research and Education Services, at The Ohio State University Health Sciences Library (HSL). In this role, she leads a team responsible for supporting the research, instruction and reference needs of health sciences students, faculty and clinicians. Information literacy is an ongoing focus of her career, particularly integrating it into assignments and curriculum in partnership with faculty and instructors.

Katie's current research investigates the information behaviors of first-year undergraduate students.

Katie holds a Master of Library and Information Science from Kent State University, a Master of Arts in Educational Technology from Ohio State and a Bachelor of Music Education from Bowling Green State University.
