Reserve Study Rooms

Study rooms are located on the 3rd floor of the library. Reservations can be placed online or by calling the front desk. Reservations are accepted up to three days in advance.

The Health Sciences Library is open to all Ohio State and Wexner Medical Center students, faculty and staff. Badge swipe entry is not required during hours that Prior Hall is open to the public (Monday – Friday, 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., excluding university holidays ).

Study room features include:

  • Whiteboards in all rooms
  • 43" monitor with HDMI connector and power outlets (with the exception of Room 360F)

Study room policies Include:

  • Room occupancy is limited to five people per room.
  • Rooms can be reserved for two hours.
  • If no one else has reserved the room, a reservation may be extended by contacting the Public Services desk at the reservation end time. Reservations will not be extended before the reservation end time.
  • Group members may not book back-to-back reservations.
  • Reservations may be cancelled if the room is not occupied within 10 minutes of the start of the reservation.
  • Students will be given first priority for study room reservations.
  • Keep voice and device volumes low. Study rooms are NOT soundproof.
  • Each study room is equipped with 5 chairs and 1 whiteboard. Do not move furniture in or out of rooms.
  • If equipment is missing or damaged, please report it to the Public Services Desk.

Note: Study rooms are available for use during Extended Library Access (ELA) hours on a first come, first served basis. Reservations are not required and 2-hour limits are not enforced during these times. Please follow all other study room policies.
