NOTICE: The HSL Computer Lab is available for scheduling resident / student testing only. The computer lab space is being used for student study space overflow through 2020 during Prior Hall construction. 

Anyone else requiring a lab for classes, training sessions, or workshops may contact ODEE Classroom Services for other available computer-rich spaces on campus. 

Residency Testing Coordinators should email Henrietta Jones or call 614.292.4853 to schedule the HSL Lab.

Software Installation and Browser Compatibility:

  • It is the requestor's responsibility to conduct all system checks or test browser  compatability in preparation for the event. 
  • System checks should be done at least 3 weeks beforehand. 
  • The requestor must submit and OSUMC IT Ticket requesting the installation of additional software or secure browser required for the event/exam. Less than three weeks notice of any software needs may reduce the chance of having the required technology in place.
  • The requestor may be required to provide the software and/or proof of license to use prior to the event.

Food Policy

Food is not permitted in the computer lab.

Testing coordinators wishing to provide food during testing periods should reserve Room 400 via Events & Video Production. Room 400 will need to be reserved in advance.  If this room is booked, food may be set up just outside of the computer lab, on the table provided, with food eaten elsewhere in the Library.  Testing staff and testing groups are responsible for cleanup

 

Internet Access

Medical Center or OSU name.# credentials are required to access the Internet. 

IHIS Access

The IHIS environment is accessible on Computer Lab machines. The Citrix icon on the desktop of the computer lab machines points to the teaching environment for IHIS (accesslearn.osumc.edu). To access the live environment for IHIS, open the browser, visit access.osumc.edu, then enter your DUO information. If you do not have DUO access call the OSUWMC Help Desk at 614-293-3861 for assistance. Once you are logged into Citrix with DUO you can log into IHIS with your MedCtr credentials.
