Casey Mazzoli, MLIS
Bio
Casey is research and education librarian and assistant professor of practice at The Ohio State University Health Sciences Library, serving as the liaison librarian to the Ohio State College of Public Health and one of the liaison librarians to the Ohio State College of Medicine.
Prior to working at Ohio State, Casey was the public services librarian at Otterbein University's Courtright Memorial Library. She is passionate about information literacy instruction and equipping library patrons with the technology and information skills to navigate new developments such as artificial intelligence (AI).
Casey also spent time working in the Columbus Metropolitan Library system. She has her Master's in Library and Information Science from Kent State University and her Bachelor's in English and Writing from Indiana Wesleyan University. Casey is a professional member of the American Library Association (ALA), the Association of College and Research Libraries (ACRL), the Academic Library Association of Ohio (ALAO) and the Medical Library Association (MLA).
