Anthony Baker, CMI, FAMI

Bio

Anthony graduated from the Columbus College of Art & Design with a BFA in illustration and graphic design. He then earned his degree in medical illustration from The Ohio State University. Before joining the Medical Visuals team, Anthony worked at Nationwide Children's Hospital as medical illustrator, graphic designer and manager of the medical illustration and graphic design department. He also worked for the University of Cincinnati Department of Neurosurgery and Mayfield Clinic, illustrating the Atlas of Operative Microneurosurgery for Drs. John M. Tew, Jr. and Harry R vanLoveren. As an illustrator, he has created illustrations for professional journals, medical textbooks and other print and web material.

In 2008, he joined the Heath Sciences Library as the lead of Medical Visuals. Anthony is a certified medical illustrator. He's a professional member and Fellow of the Association of Medical Illustrators (AMI). He's also a member of the Association Européenne des Illustrateurs Médicaux et Scientifiques (AEIMS).
