Created by the Health Sciences Librarians, the below tutorials will walk you through a variety of library topics, including how to use particular tools or how to perform different types of searches.  

Each tutorial will present you with a block of text instructions on the left hand side of the screen and a live screen view, screen shots, or videos on the right. You can also use the navigation menu at the top left-hand corner to skip ahead to the content you need.  This setup will allow you to work through the various aspects of the tutorials at your own pace.

What is a Systematic Review? 

• This tutorial was created to help those interested in Systematic Reviews learn more about what they are and what goes into completing one. Please note, this tutorial is NOT a step-by-step guide to completing a Systematic Review, this tutorial is a high level introduction/overview, and not an exhaustive guide.

• This guided module will walk you through the step-by-step process of creating a new RefWorks account and some of the basic functionality of the product.

• This guided module will walk you through the step-by-step process of creating a new Zotero account and some of the basic functionality of the product.

Scholarly Impact

Measuring Scholarly Impact 

• In this tutorial you will be guided through the mechanics of finding impact factors, journal rankings, and citations to your own published work(s). This tutorial also covers what Altmetrics are and how they can be used by authors, and also includes author metrics (h-index).
