New Additions to Nursing History Collections

The Medical Heritage Center’s (MHC) curators and Friends of Nursing History Steering Committee are committed to collecting, preserving, promoting, teaching and celebrating the legacy of nursing in central Ohio. The curators’ and committee’s ongoing outreach encourages Ohio nurses to share and preserve their experiences in and important contributions to the nursing profession.

Medical Visuals Collaborates with Hamilton East Public Library

In 2024, while attending the American Library Association (ALA) Annual Conference and PRXchange Competition Showcase in San Diego, Health Sciences Library (HSL) Medical Illustrator Courtney Chenock had the opportunity to share several of Medical Visuals’ projects at the HSL booth, including the Local Luminaries Coloring Book. The book was designed to highlight influential Ohio State figures who have made notable contributions to health sciences scholarship, research and innovation.
