Join us for an introduction to developing a search strategy. There are several basic principles to keep in mind when creating a search strategy, regardless of what database you are using, and this workshop will provide you with the general skills needed to apply these principles in a variety of scenarios.
Topics to be covered include:
- Steps to plan out your search
- PICO framework
- Developing search terms
- Boolean operators
- Selecting a database
Previous searching experience is not required. This workshop is ideal for students, faculty, or staff new to literature searching, as well as those with some experience but looking for a refresher.
