Join us for an overview of HSL’s McGraw-Hill Access database subscriptions. These resources contain a variety of full-text e-textbooks, as well as interactive study tools, in different medical disciplines.
HSL subscriptions include Access Medicine, Access Emergency Medicine, Access Pharmacy, Access Physiotherapy, Access Surgery, JAMA evidence, and newly available since 2024, Access Anesthesiology and Access Pediatrics. This workshop will provide an overview of how to use these resources, both as a student or an instructor.
Topics to be covered include:
- An overview of key features of the Access databases including textbooks, multimedia resources, self-assessment, case files and study tools
- Creating a MyAccess personal account
- Earning CME with MyAccess content
- Using the Access Mobile App
- Embedding Access resources into your courses
Previous experience with Access databases is not required. This workshop is ideal for medical students looking for new study resources and faculty looking for new course materials.
