Anna Biszaha provides reference, instruction and research support services at The Ohio State University Health Sciences Library and serves as the liaison librarian to both the College of Dentistry and the School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences.

Anna regularly provides consultations and guidance to researchers performing literature reviews, including systematic and scoping reviews. She teaches frequent sessions on searching the literature, PubMed, reference managers and systematic/scoping review methodology.

Anna also has experience working with funder mandates, such as the 2024 National Institutes of Health (NIH) Public Access Policy and the 2023 NIH Data Management & Sharing Policy.

Her research focuses on critically evaluating library services and resources to improve usability, increase impact, and inform the broader field of health sciences librarianship. 

Anna received a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and German from The Ohio State University and a Master of Library and Information Science (MLIS) from the University of Pittsburgh. Prior to coming to the Health Sciences Library at Ohio State, she was a librarian at Capital University. She also taught English in Austria and has worked in multiple movie theaters.
