Beginning August 23, 2022, Prior Hall will have open building hours (no badge-swipe needed for entry) between 7 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., Monday – Friday.

In response to increased building access needs, visitors will no longer need to swipe in to Prior Hall between 7 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. on weekdays. The building will remain locked all other times Monday – Friday, on weekends and on university holidays.

How do Prior Hall building hours impact Health Sciences Library access?

Although Prior Hall will be open and unlocked between 7 a.m. and 7:30 a.m., Monday – Friday, there will be no access to Health Sciences Library (HSL) floors during this time. Please visit the library's hours page on this website for current normal library operating hours.

Starting August 23, 2022, during normal operating hours:

• You do not need to swipe to access the HSL between 7 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., Monday – Friday.
• You do need to swipe to access the HSL between 5:30 p.m. and closing time, Monday - Friday.
• You do need to swipe to access the HSL on Saturday or Sunday.
• You do need to swipe to access the HSL on holidays on which the library is open.

Visitors may not access the HSL outside of normal operating hours without prior approval.
