4 – 5 p.m. EDT
Online Workshop led by Anna Biszaha, Assistant Professor, HSL Research and Education Librarian

Join us for an introduction to searching in PubMed.  This database is one of the top resources to find articles for almost any health science topic, and the workshop will provide an overview of how to use this system.

Topics to be covered include:

  • What is PubMed?
  • How to access the database and perform a basic search
  • Understanding the parts of a PubMed record
  • How to access your Search Details
  • An introduction to Automatic Term Mapping and MeSH
  • Creating an NCBI Account

Previous PubMed experience is not required. This workshop is ideal for students, faculty, or staff new to PubMed, as well as those with some experience but looking for a refresher.

This workshop will not be recorded, but slides will be shared with participants.
