Mastering SciENcv Workshop

Wednesday, March 11
Noon – 1 p.m. EDT
Online Workshop led by Kaylie Vermillion
, HSL Research and Education Research Librarian

Join us for an interactive workshop focused on SciENcv, the federal government system for creating NIH and NSF biosketches. SciENcv is already required by NSF, and NIH is expected to adopt it soon. This session will introduce you to SciENcv and guide you through creating and maintaining a compliant biosketch.

Topics to be covered include:

  • An introduction to SciENcv and its key features
  • Step-by-step guidance on creating your profile and generating a compliant biosketch
  • How to link ORCiD and other researcher profiles to auto-populate your SciENcv record
  • Tips for maintaining and updating your biosketch for future submissions

No prior experience with SciENcv is required. Participants will leave with the knowledge needed to confidently navigate and update their biosketch.

Please note: This workshop will not be recorded, so come prepared to engage and ask questions.

If you require an accommodation such as live captioning or interpretation to participate in this event, please contact Sarah Norman at sarah.norman@osumc.edu or (614) 292-4861. Requests made by Wednesday, March 4 will generally allow us to provide seamless access, but the university will make every effort to meet requests made after this date.
