Workshop: Introduction to Systematic Reviews (Virtual)
Introduction to Systematic Reviews Workshop
Wednesday, October 19
12 p.m. – 1 p.m. EDT
Online Workshop led by Stephanie Schulte, Professor, HSL Research and Education Librarian
Join us for an introduction to systematic reviews, a type of research methodology that attempts to find ALL relevant studies addressing a particular question.
Topics to be covered include:
- What is a systematic review?
- Processes and standards related to systematic reviews
- How a systematic review compares to other types of reviews
This workshop will not cover comprehensive searching techniques or delve into the mechanics of tools that can help with these reviews. Previous experience conducting systematic reviews is not required, but some exposure to them (reading, citing) would be helpful.
This workshop will not be recorded.
Can’t make the workshop? Check out our Systematic Reviews Guide.
If you require accommodation such as live captioning or interpretation to participate in this event, please contact Katherine Hoffman at katherine.hoffman@osumc.edu or (614) 292-4861. Requests made by Wednesday, October 12 will generally allow us to provide seamless access, but the university will make every effort to meet requests made after this date.
