Workshop: Basic Searching in CINAHL (Virtual)
Basic Searching in CINAHL Database: Workshop
Wednesday, October 6
2 p.m. – 3 p.m. EDT
Online workshop led by Kerry Dhakal, Assistant Professor, HSL Research and Education Librarian
Join us for an introduction to searching in the CINAHL database. This database is the premier database for searching on nursing and allied health topics. It has a user-friendly interface and can be searched with keywords and subject headings. This workshop will provide basic information on searching CINAHL using keywords and synonyms to find articles that will support evidence-based practice (EBP) and research projects alike.
We will also review how to:
- Use limits
- Download full-text articles
- Save search histories
- Set up search alerts
This workshop will be held online (virtual).
If you require an accommodation such as live captioning or interpretation to participate in this event, please contact Katherine Hoffman at katherine.hoffman@osumc.edu or 614-292-4861. Requests made by Wednesday, September 29 will generally allow us to provide seamless access, but the university will make every effort to meet requests made after this date.
