Are you a faculty member (or a staff member who assists a faculty member) who needs to articulate metrics that can be part of the quality indicators section of the dossier for promotion? The library subscribes to two databases that can help, Web of Science and Scopus. This workshop will demonstrate how to extract this data nicely for your records and will also talk about the differences between these two sources as well as data in Google Scholar. It will also cover the topic of impact factors, where they come from, and how they should be used.

Workshop will be led by Stephanie Schulte, MLS, Associate Professor and Associate Director Research and Education Services, Health Sciences Library.

Please note: this session will not be recorded.
