Judy obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Japanese and French and a Master of Education from The Ohio State University. She loves to learn and teach what she knows. She spent 4 years as a student and English teacher in Japan and France and has 12 years of customer service experience in French and English. She also spent one year living in a tent on a farm in Hawaii to learn how to grow her own food. Before coming to the Health Sciences Library, she was a French teacher at the Wellington School.

As public services coordinator, Judy manages weekday opening operations at the library, as well as the print reserve collection. Using her 6 years of teaching experience, she also collaborates on projects and planning with the HSL's research and education librarians.
