Alice N. Henry brings over 25 years of professional marketing and communications experience in a variety of industries – from Fortune 100 companies to service industries to higher education. She is a graduate of The Ohio State University with a bachelor's degree in microbiology, and a proud Buckeye for life.

Alice brings a robust strategic and collaborative approach to marketing, as well as strong communication skills for both internal and external audiences. With her innovative approaches, Alice has generated notable increases in brand awareness and social media growth in her role at the Health Sciences Library as well as in previous roles. She also has a keen eye for graphic design and enjoys exercising her creative muscles as well.

While at the HSL, Alice has led award-winning marketing projects and presented on marketing-related topics to peer libraries professionals. She also authored a marketing column in Taylor & Francis' online journal, Public Services Quarterly, in 2021.

Alice has two grown kids, so she and her husband are enjoying the empty nester stage by reading, gardening, traveling and living in a house managed by their three cats. Alice's husband is also adjunct faculty at Columbus State Community College.
