When thinking of the Health Sciences Library, you might imagine a collection of health sciences books and journals, but did you know that the HSL also has virtual reality equipment? Certified medical illustrators? And a room stocked with yoga mats and meditation pillows?
Introduction to THE Studio is a basic workshop to help participants learn how to use THE Studio, a video and audio recording space located in the EdTech Incubator (ETI). Participants will be briefed on how to set up for a shoot, including lighting, camera placement, recording and file storage.
Join us for a festive hands-on workshop where you’ll learn the basics of 3D modeling in Blender—no prior experience required! Guided by the ETI team, you’ll design and sculpt your very own digital snowman, customize it with creative details, and prepare it for 3D printing. After the session, we’ll print your snowman for you to pick up and take home!
