Bis-Lumin: A Medication

History

Columbus' Own: Bis-Lumin was developed by the Columbus Pharmacal Company. This company was incorporated into Columbus in 1886. The Columbus Pharmacal Company eventually changed names to Philips Roxane in 1961 and later to Roxane Labs in 1982.

Purpose

Good-bye, Stomachaches! Bis-Lumin was an antacid medication. Antacids are substances that neutralize stomach acidity and are used to remedy heartburn, indigestion or any upset stomach.
