In response to mandated budget constraints, Event Technologies has implemented several necessary operational changes. While their team is still dedicated to providing customers with the highest level of professional and courteous service, please note the following changes:
The new reduced hours of operation are Monday – Thursday, 7:00am – 5:00pm and Friday, 7:00am – 3:00pm. Events taking place outside of these times will incur a charge for on-site coverage.
Remote System Management (RSM)
Event Technologies has recently added Remote System Management (RSM) functionality to half of their supported locations. This new capability enables users to have access to the installed AV system to host their event. RSM is an option for after-hours events that will not incur a charge. Please visit the Rooms section of their website for a list of locations that have RSM capability.
In the past, Event Technologies has extended their services to locations experiencing support gaps. However, due to the new budget constraints, Event Technologies is forced to focus their support in the spaces they manage. These are the centrally scheduled rooms that are reserved through Room Scheduling. Please visit the Rooms section of the Event Technologies website for a list of supported spaces. Support of locations not listed on the Rooms page is at the discretion of Event Technologies and if supported, will incur a charge. Please visit the Scheduling section of the Event Technologies website for assistance with scheduling a room and reserving AV.
Video Projects (separate from events) will be billed. Examples include interviews, instructional videos and promotional videos. If you have any questions regarding these types of video projects, please contact our Production Supervisor, Jason Joseph, at 688-9003 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Event Technologies will no longer pre-load presentation files such as PowerPoint. Presenters will need to bring their content on a USB Flash Drive.
Event Technologies provides a variety of services related to audiovisual technology. They support the College of Medicine and The Ohio State University's Wexner Medical Center community in classroom and auditoria across the Medical Center campus. Their staff handles everything from small classroom presentations to large-scale, broadcast events. In addition, they offer video recording of these events as well as video projects separate from events.
