September is Fruits, Veggies & Whole Grains Awareness Month

September 9, 2020

Fresh fruits and vegetables, as well as whole grains, are an important part of a balanced diet. The Library for Health Information (LHI) can help you find trustworthy and reliable resources if you need tips for incorporating these important foods into your meals every day, either for yourself or for a family member or friend.

This month, check out our video with Dr. Aaron Clark, a family physician with the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. Dr. Clark talks about the importance of fresh fruits, vegetables, and whole grains, and shares some information with us about his Farmacy program. The Farmacy program helps families in the community that are struggling with food accessibility.
