The OSU Libraries have implemented a new link resolver to replace OLinks. This new link resolver is called Find It and is a service that takes you from an article citation in a database to full text available in the Libraries' collections. The Find It service will provide links to as many access points as possible making it easier to find full text than in the past.
As part of the change to the new system, the link to PubMed has changed. Please update any links or bookmarks to http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/?otool=ohohsulib. This URL will identify you as part of OSU and you will see the button below in the upper right hand corner of every article abstract page in your PubMed search results. When you click on a Find It! button, the link resolver will search the libraries collections and provide a link to full text when possible.
You will begin to see the new Find It! buttons in your search results across OSU subscribed databases. If you are not seeing the new button and are still seeing the grey OLinks button, please clear your browser cache.
If you are a MyNCBI user, make sure that The Ohio State University is selected in your outside tool preferences to make sure that you see the updated Find It! button that will take you to the new link resolver. The OhioLINK outside tool option is no longer functional.
OLinks will no longer be available after 1/31/14. Anyone trying to access OLinks after this date will get an error. If you see this, please update any outdated links or bookmarks.
Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org if you have questions or need help using this new service.
