The HSL has purchased an unlimited license to Covidence, a tool that can help you save time and more easily manage information used in systematic reviews (SR). Covidence guides teams through the SR process: data gathering, screening, data extraction, and data export. It can save time and reduce the amount of time it takes to get synthesized research results published and integrated into practice.
To access Covidence, please see the Covidence database page. If you’ve already created an account with an OSU.edu or OSUMC.edu email account, visit the OSU Covidence Sign-up Page and enter your email and password to receive an invitation. Then follow the instructions to link your accounts. If you used an email that was not OSU.edu or OSUMC.edu, you will not be able to link the accounts.
Systematic reviews are popular endeavors at OSU that require substantial time and expertise, and should be approached thoughtfully like any other research methodology. To assist you with this, the professionals in the Research and Education Services unit of the HSL have prepared a detailed systematic review guide. Here, you will find information about the steps of an SR, determining the kind of review that might be best for you, the librarian SR assistance policy, as well as a detailed form for requesting assistance with your potential review.
