Keeping Life Sweet

Friday, February 14, 2020
12:30 – 1:30 PM
112 Meiling Hall
How do you find balance? Stress in medical school is a reality: USMLE Step 1, modules, publications, and everything else can leave one feeling like there’s no time for hobbies or personal interests. But what if the things we often set aside are actually a key to our wellbeing and cooling burnout? Join us as students chat with Dr. Steven Gabbe about their strategies for maintaining balance as life gets busy.
Afterward, stay to enjoy sweet treats prepared by Devon Langston, who uses his culinary practice to maintain perspective and focus, and be more productive.
The Linda C. Stone, MD Program for Humanism and the Arts in Medicine is supported by the Ohio State University College of Medicine, the OSU College of Medicine Alumni Society, the OSU Wexner Medical Center Service Board and our generous donors to the Medicine and the Arts Fund through the OSU Foundation.
